Frisco Melt

Ingredients:

1 lb. ground beef

garlic powder

onion powder

salt and pepper

mesquite/steak seasoning

Worcestershire sauce

1 egg

softened butter

sourdough or brioche bread

American cheese

swiss cheese

thousand island

Directions:

1. Season ground beef with a few dashes of garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper, mesquite/steak seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce and add 1 egg; mix with hands till fully combined.

2. Create 4-5 thin patties.

3. Spread softened butter on 4 pieces of bread.

4. Place the 4 pieces of bread butter side down on a large pan on medium heat (or griddle set to 325F).

5. Place a slice of swiss cheese on one slice of bread.

6. Cook meat patties on 375F flat top or medium-high heat in a pan on your stovetop.

7. Stack a cooked burger on top of the melted swiss, followed by a slice of American cheese, then the second patty.

8. Move everything to a plate, top burger stack with thousand island sauce and top with the other slice of buttered, toasted bread.

9 Cut at an angle and enjoy!
