Meatball Pizzaiola Pasta

Ingredients:

8 oz. angel hair pasta (or pasta of your choice)

3 cups frozen beef meatballs (20 oz.), halved

2 oz. sliced pepperoni, halved

1 tbs. extra-virgin olive oil

1 (14.5oz) can petite diced Italian tomatoes, drained

1 24 oz. bottle tomato basil pasta sauce

1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:

1. Bring water to boil for pasta and cook according to package directions. Drain pasta once cooked and drizzle with olive oil to keep from sticking.

2. Place meatballs in microwave-safe dish and microwave for 1-2 minutes or until thawed. Halve the meatballs and pepperoni slices.

3. Preheat large sauté pan on medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes. Place oil in pan, then add halved meatballs and cook 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally until fully cooked. Stir in pepperoni halves and cook 1-2 minutes.

4. Drain tomatoes. Stir in tomatoes and pasta sauce and cook 1-2 minutes or until hot.

5. Pour drained pasta into sauce mixture until evenly coated.

6. Remove pan from heat, top with cheese, and cover for 1 minute until cheese melts. Serve.
